Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will the gold tarnish?
A: No. Our clasps and accents are crafted in 14k gold-filled metal, which is far more durable than plated jewelry as the gold layer is over 100x thicker. Gold-filled jewelry does not easily chip or wear away, and with proper care it will maintain its color and shine for decades - if not a lifetime. As with all fine metals, we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to water or chemicals to keep your strand looking its best for as long as possible. Care instructions for each piece are located on their product page.
Q: Is my piece waterproof?
A: Our necklaces are designed for durability, but we recommend avoiding water to preserve both the gemstones and the stringing. While 14k gold-filled metal is highly resistant to tarnish and can handle occasional contact with water, frequent exposure (swimming, showering, workouts) may shorten the life of the strand. For shine that lasts decades, it’s best to keep your necklace dry and store it safely after wear.
Q: Are your gemstones natural or treated?
A: All of our gemstones are 100% natural — never dyed, coated, or artificially treated. Each stone is hand-selected for its unique color, clarity, and character, ensuring every piece reflects the authentic beauty and energy of the earth.
Q: Where do you source your gemstones?
A: Our gemstones come from trusted suppliers who specialize in high-quality, natural stones. Each strand is carefully curated for its color, clarity, and individuality. Because gemstones are formed by nature, no two strands are ever exactly alike, making every necklace one of a kind.
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: Yes. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unworn pieces in their original packaging. Because each strand is hand-strung in limited quantities, we’re unable to accept returns outside this window. Shipping fees are non-refundable, and return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
Q: What if my necklace breaks or gets damaged?
A: Each necklace is hand-strung for strength and fluid drape, but gemstones are delicate by nature. In the rare event of a craftsmanship issue, we’re happy to repair or restring your piece at no cost within 30 days of delivery. Beyond this period, or in cases of wear-and-tear or accidental damage, we offer repair services for a fee. Please contact us before sending your piece so we can guide you through the process.
Q: How should I care for my necklace?
A: We recommend storing each piece in its original box or pouch, keeping it dry, and wiping gently with a soft cloth after wear. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, chemicals, or ultrasonic cleaners. With proper care, both gemstones and gold-filled metals will maintain their shine and drape for decades - if not a lifetime.
Q: What makes your jewelry different from fine jewelry?
A: We create luxury semi-fine jewelry — natural gemstones, hand-strung into strands, and finished with gold-filled accents. While fine jewelry is often defined by solid gold and diamonds, our pieces focus on expressive color, high-quality craftsmanship, and accessible luxury. Each necklace is made in limited quantities, designed to drape beautifully and last for decades.
Q: Are your pieces one of a kind?
A: Every strand is unique. Because gemstones are formed by nature, variations in color and shape are part of what makes them special. We curate stones for their quality and beauty, so while pieces may be similar, no two will ever be exactly alike.
Q: Do you offer gift packaging?
A: Yes. Every necklace arrives in our signature box and pouch, ready for gifting or safekeeping. If your order is a gift, you can add a note at checkout and we’ll include a hand-written card.
